Logo Development

Throughout the process of designing my logo I wanted to try to make it welcoming for anyone. The colour blue is a soft, calming colour that also represents wisdom and most importantly trust. This is one of the reasons I chose Blue as I want people to see it and feel that they can trust our company to create great games that are dedicated to pleasing the fan base. Customers will see the logo on covers of games and during the start-up menu, so this is important to emphasis.
I then tested different shades of blue/turquoise to see what would best convey the connotations as well as work well with the rest of the logo. A dark blue could come across as fierce and dangerous and this is not the exact tone I would like, and so ultimately I chose a light, turquoise-y blue. I chose this shade as I thought it best conveyed the friendliness I wanted and it’s also subtle and blends in nicely with the rest of the logo.

With the font I wanted to show that we are a games company and help players reach their inner child. I wanted it to be simple and have personality. The one I went with looks as If it has been written by a child with a crayon. This was perfect, and exactly how I imagined it to be. It helps convey what I wanted very well.
